Blue Mountains artists join Sculpture at Scenic World

Eight Blue Mountains artists have been selected along with dozens of other world-class artists to exhibit at Sculpture at Scenic World in 2018, reports the Blue Mountains Gazette.

"With submissions from as far afield as Finland, Sweden and Brazil, 43 artists were selected by panel members including Penrith Regional Gallery and The Lewers Bequest Director, Dr Lee-Ann Hall; Campbelltown Art Centre Curator, Adam Porter; and Blue Mountains-based artist and art academic, Anne Graham.

"A total of 38 artworks will be showcased during Sculpture at Scenic World 2018, including works from 31 NSW artists and eight from the Blue Mountains.

"From subtle installations to bold sculptural masterpieces, Sculpture at Scenic World will showcase works across a variety of artistic mediums, with all creations to go in the running for the highly coveted $20,000 Scenic World Major Award."
