LOW CARBON LIVING

The Low Carbon Living program supports individuals, households, businesses and communities to reduce their carbon footprint.

The program started as a research project run in partnership with the Low Carbon Living Cooperative Research Centre. The program was first piloted in the Blue Mountains in 2016, where it proved to be a success, with over 80 businesses signing onto the program by 2018.

In response to this, the program launched nationally in late 2018. Since then it has expanded into the Southern Highlands of NSW and Far North Queensland.

Low Carbon Living is now an independent, not-for-profit social enterprise.
